Carter Logue, a junior at Carlisle High School, is a great example of what determination, teamwork and tenacity in competing can do for you. A state qualifier in wrestling at 113 pounds in 2016-17, Logue just recently qualified for state cross country as well. Through many gutsy performances in both sports, he has been able to excel and lead his teams. Don’t let his calm, cool demeanor fool you, Logue is a fierce competitor. He does this all while helping the CYA wrestling program after his own practices to help out the program and mentor younger wrestlers. You can see Logue running halls at 6:45 AM, practicing in the wrestling room until 6 PM and mentoring wrestlers until around 7:30 on some nights.
