Max Goodhue won the long jump at the SE Polk Invitational on April 5 with a career-best 22-6 1/2. The leap landed him second on the all-time Carlisle best list behind Damarcus Taylor (2006), who holds the school record at 22-9 1/2.
Goodhue also won the 110m-high hurdles in 15.17, which was his personal best and Carlisle's sixth fastest time ever recorded. The shuttle hurdle relay team he anchored also placed second in 59.25, which is the seventh best time ever run by the Wildcats.
Max is an outstanding student and standout four-sport athlete at CHS who will continue his baseball and football careers at Wartburg College next fall.
