Tristine has developed into one of the top sprinters on our team and in the Raccoon River Conference. She is currently a member of three different relay teams that are in the top-5 in Class 3A, including the distance medley relay team that set a new school record by nearly five seconds with a time of 4:16.24 to get the win at DC-G on April 16. That time is now No. 1 in class 3A and No. 2 in all classes. The sprint medley relay team in which she runs the 200m leg also ran 1:51.75 also won at DC-G in the second fastest time in school history. This year Tristine has taken on a leadership role that has been of great benefit to our younger athletes. Tristine has a smile and attitude that puts everyone around her in a good mood and relaxed to compete at their best. Her presence on the team is felt in a positive way every single day in practice and competition.
