To promote, establish and support performing arts activities as needed to foster and encourage the development of skills and educational programs for individuals in the Carlisle Community School District.
Performing Arts Boosters meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Carlisle United Methodist Church basement. Everyone is welcome!
The Performing Arts Boosters raises money through Touchdowns for the Performing Arts during the football season. Also, our Fall, Four Season fundraiser which includes the sale of fruit, meat, cheese, candy, nuts and cookie dough. Finally, through our Little Caesars Pizza fundraiser in the Spring. These funds are used in many ways. Some recent uses include; the continued support of our band and choir students through paid clinicians that work with our Carlisle students directly, instruments, sheet music for the band and choir, funding for All-State Camps and the Raccoon River Conference, and items on the Directors’ wish lists. In 2018 our fundraising allowed the Boosters to donate funds into each student and chaperone accounts for the 2018 Spring Break Trip to Disney World in Florida, in addition to supplying four meals/snacks.
If you have a passion for Band, Choir, or Drama, and ensuring the success of our Carlisle students that participate in these activities, please come join us! Currently, dues are your time, ideas, & energy! There are several opportunities for volunteerism throughout the school year and into summer! It is so much fun to spend time with these talented kids!
