The Carlisle Wildcats improved to 3-0 (3-1 overall) in the Raccoon River Conference with a 67-53 victory over Boone Friday night. After a close first half, the Cats were able to pull away in the third and fourth quarters by turning steals and defensive rebounds into transition buckets.
Leading the way for the Cats was senior Tommy Donovan who recorded his first career triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Donovan also had five steals. Junior Collin Lister chipped in 23 points, while senior Cole Henderson added 13 points. Senior Max Goodhue also had a solid game by scoring eight points, pulling down seven boards and blocking three shots.
