Wildcats Fall Short at No. 8 Norwalk, 73-67

The Carlisle Wildcats fell short of knocking off No. 8 Norwalk on Tuesday in non-conference action, 73-67. Carlisle led 18-11 after the first quarter and 31-29 at the break. The second half displayed several lead changes and the game was tied with three minutes remaining. Ultimately, Norwalk was able to seal the victory with some clutch three-point baskets in the final minutes.
Coach Poldberg commented, "I was extremely proud of our kids execution of the game plan on both ends of the floor. We played with poise and discipline throughout the entire game."
Leading the way for the Cats was junior Collin Lister with 23 points. Senior point guard Tommy Donovan scored 15 points to go along with nine assists and eight rebounds. Donovan also went 11/14 from the foul line. Seniors Max Goodhue and Cole Henderson scored 12 and 10, respectively. 
The Wildcats fell to 6-4 overall (6-1 RRC) and are back in action Friday night as they host Perry.
