Senior Max Goodhue ran 15.51 and Nolan Brunsen 15.55 in the 110m high hurdles to finish 19th and 22nd out of 32 competitors. Goodhue jumped 20-8 in the prelims of the long jump to finish 17th out of 24 jumpers. The 4x100m relay squad of Kacyn Pickering-Goodhue-Cole Henderson-Ben Rowray ran 44.49 to finish 33rd out of 80 teams. The shuttle hurdle relay squad of Beck-Pickering-Brunsen-Goodhue ran 58.72, which was the third fastest time in the prelims, but the squad did not qualify for the finals due to being disqualified.

"We qualified six events for the Drake Relays, which is tied for the second most in school history," said a proud Coach Jared Fletcher. "Our guys got some valuable experience at the Blue Oval that will definitely help when the state meet rolls around. We are proud of how our guys competed against the best in the state regardless of school size."

The Wildcats will host the Raccoon River Conference meet on Thursday with field events slated to begin at 4:15 and running events at 4:45.
