The Carlisle boys ran at the ADM XC Invite on Sept. 18th. The varsity team took home the team title with 27 points. They were led by overall champion Kolby Fritz (sophomore) in 17:11. Joining Fritz on the medal stand were junior Carter Logue (2nd), senior Kobi Sadler (7th), junior Collin Lister (8th), sophomore Kyle Miller (9th), and junior Jon Flaws (12th). Also running with the varsity squad was sophomore Tristen Kessler (23rd).
Not to be outdone, the JV boys turned in a championship-level performance, winning with a meet-low 18 points. Junior Nate Rowary was the individual JV champion in 18:19. The JV squad took home seven of the 10 medals. Right behind Rowray was freshman Brandon Kesner in second place, while junior Truman Kruse crossed the line in fourth, sophomore Hunter Snyder in fifth, freshman Cole Osterhaus sixth, freshman Ethan Schlichte seventh and freshman Kaden Sadler in eighth. Also among the top 15 in the JV race were sophomore Nate Norton, who finished 12th, and senior Noah Imhoff, who finished 14th.
The Wildcat boys next race Thursday, September 21, at Indianola (Pickard Park).
