Boys Capture State Qualifier Meet Title- Head to State
The No. 8 ranked Carlisle Wildcat boys cross country team made history in Atlantic by winning the state qualifying meet title.  The win punches the team's ticket to the state XC meet for the second consecutive year.  
 
Four runners were also individual state qualifiers by finishing among the top 15 at the meet.  Leading the way for the Wildcats was Carter Logue in second place and Kolby Fritz in third.  Also finishing among the top 10 individuals were Collin Lister in seventh and Kobi Sadler in ninth.  Rounding out the winning varsity crew were Nate Rowray in 19th, Jon Flaws in 20th, and Kyle Miller in 27th.
 
The team out paced 12 other teams and scored 40 points to bring home the team title.  Fellow Raccoon River Conference teams, Bondurant-Farrar (64 points -2nd) and ADM (78 points-3rd) also qualified for the state meet.  Glenwood was in fourth with 107 points and Kuemper Catholic was in fifth with 161.
 
The final meet of the season will be Saturday, October 28, at the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge.
