Wildcats Capture Third Straight Conference XC Title

The Carlisle boys cross country won their third consecutive Raccoon River Conference championship October 11 on a course at ADM high school after the rainy weather postponed the original meet at Ballard Golf & Country Club.  The Wildcats scored 27 points.  Second-place Bondurant-Farrar scored 73 and third-place Ballard scored 76.  Carlisle had five runners in the top nine finishers and 10 runners among the top 19.

Seven Wildcats earned a spot on the all-conference team, led by Tristen Kessler's third-place finish.  Also on the all-RRC squad were Kolby Fritz (4th), Carter Logue (5th), Kyle Miller (6th), Brandon Kessler (9th), Hunter Snyder (12th), and Nate Rowray (14th).  Jon Flaws (17th), Ethan Schlichte (18th), and Kaden Sadler (19th) ran great races to finish in the top 19.

The No. 3 ranked Wildcats will run their State Qualifier Meet at Pella on Oct. 18th.
