The best season in Wildcat XC history ended with individual success at the state meet. Freshman Ainsley Erzen crossed the line in fourth place, making her the highest state meet finisher in school history. Erzen ends her season with seven individual victories, six course records, and an all-state finish, completing the most successful individual season in school history. Senior Megan Sievers, competing in her fourth straight state meet, once again rose to the occasion. The season veteran finished in 13th place in class 3A, good for her fourth consecutive all-state accolades. In the last four years in all classes, Sievers is the only girl to be named an all-state place-winner in each year. She finished 14th, 12th, 9th and 13th at each of her state meet appearances, closing out the most successful individual career in Wildcat XC history.
Congratulations to these amazing young ladies on their success this season!
