The Carlisle Wildcat boys' track & field squad finished third at the IATC Indoor Championships at Iowa State University in the Class 3A division. North Polk won the 21-team race with 85 points followed by Pella with 54, Carlisle with 51, DCG with 47 and ADM rounded out the top five with 39 points. Carlisle had one event champion (Archer Ogbourne in the long jump), two event runner-ups (Aiden Chanthavong in the high jump and Kahle Rattray in the shot put), and several other top-8 performances.

From Coach Fletcher: "This was an interesting meet for us as it fell on the first day of Spring Break so we were missing many of our student-athletes. We had some very strong marks in the field. That is a strength for us so far this year. Zondervan ran an outstanding 400 meter race, we had PR's in the hurdles and short sprints, and our relays got the baton cleanly around the track. Like all indoor meets, it gives us a chance to see how guys compete and what type of grit and resolve they have."
