The Wildcat boys cross country team ran at the SE Polk Invite on Oct. 1. Both the varsity and JV placed 6th in a mostly 4A nine-team field. 3A No. 1 DG-G was the meet champion with a team-low 44 points.
The varsity team was led by Brandon Kesner's 9th place finish. Also running for the squad was Ethan Schlichte in 27th, Kaden Sadler in 29th, Brady Birkenholtz in 34th, Brayden Kessler in 43rd, Mason Ramsey in 45th, Chase Gach in 56th, Raymond Birech in 63rd, Keith Christenson in 71st, and Brody Roth in 73rd.
The JV boys were led by Lincoln Eighmy's 4th place finish. The rest of the JV top 10 were Zach Streeter in 11th, Quinten Kessler in 29th, Josh Lancaster in 36th, Ezra DeCleene in 46th, Sam Wilson in 54th, Cole Waterhouse in 58th, Adrian Carmenate in 108th, Aaron Parks in 21:44, and Ben Imhoff in 121st.
