The Wildcat boys cross country team ran at the SE Polk Invite on Oct. 1. Both the varsity and JV placed 6th in a mostly 4A nine-team field. 3A No. 1 DG-G was the meet champion with a team-low 44 points. 

The varsity team was led by Brandon Kesner's 9^th place finish. Also running for the squad was Ethan Schlichte in 27^th, Kaden Sadler in 29^th, Brady Birkenholtz in 34^th, Brayden Kessler in 43^rd, Mason Ramsey in 45^th, Chase Gach in 56^th, Raymond Birech in 63^rd, Keith Christenson in 71^st, and Brody Roth in 73^rd.

The JV boys were led by Lincoln Eighmy's 4^th place finish.  The rest of the JV top 10 were Zach Streeter in 11^th, Quinten Kessler in 29^th, Josh Lancaster in 36^th, Ezra DeCleene in 46^th, Sam Wilson in 54^th, Cole Waterhouse in 58^th, Adrian Carmenate in 108^th, Aaron Parks in 21:44, and Ben Imhoff in 121^st.
