Wildcats Run with some of the Best 4A Teams in the State
The Wildcats ran in yet another mostly 4A, highly competitive meet in Fort Dodge. The Cats placed third, two points behind second-place SE Polk and 12 points behind race-champion Ankeny. Carlisle finished 23 points ahead of 4A No. 15-ranked WDM Valley.
The Wildcats were led by Brandon Kesner's impressive sixth-place finish in 17:18. Also in the top 15 were Kaden Sadler in 10th place (17:30) and Chase Gach in 13th place (17:35).
Followed close behind those three were Brayden Kessler in 21st place (17:48), Ethan Schlichte in 24th (17:53), Brady Birkenholtz in 26th (17:53.7), Raymond Birech in 27th (17:53.9), Lincoln Eighmy in 29th (17:56) and Mason Ramsey in 37th place (18:30). Sadler, Kessler, Birech, Eighmy and Gach all set career PRs tonight!

The Cats look to defend their varsity and JV Raccoon River Conference titles Monday at the RRC Meet in Ames (hosted by Gilbert).
