The No. 6 ranked Carlisle Boys XC team kicked off its season August 31 at the DCG Invitational. The meet was hosted by No. 1 ranked and defending state champions, DCG. The team finished inthird out of 10 teams with 83 points. DCG was the meet champion with 30 and 2A No. 4 DM Christian came in second with 79 points.

The Wildcats were led by Lincoln Eighmy who came in 12^th place overall. Also among the top 20 were Mason Ramsey in 14^th, Brady Birkenholtz in 17^th, and Brayden Kessler in 18^th.  Rounding out the top 10 team finishers were Keith Christenson in 22^nd, Zach Streeter in 23^rd, Kamden Brown in 24^th, Mattix Benefiel in 30^th, Raymond Birech in 34^th,  and Ezra DeCleene in 35^th. 

Mason Ramsey placed as the No. 6 overall senior in the race.  Lincoln Eighmy and Brady Birkenholtz were the 2^nd and 3^rd fastest juniors in the race.  Kamden Brown and Harrison Eighmy were the 2^nd and 4^th fastest freshmen in the race.
