The Carlisle boys competed as the lone 3A team at the Indianola Invite on Sept. 23. The varsity boys placed fifth amongst 10 teams, with Urbandale winning the meet.  The squad was led by Chase Gach's 12th place finish.  Also in the top 20 for the Cats were Brayden Kessler, who placed 14th and Mason Ramsey, who placed 20th.  Rounding out the varsity seven were Brady Birkenholtz in 31st, Zach Streeter in 42nd, and Keith Christenson in 43rd.

The JV boys ran an excellent race to take the JV team title over the other nine 4A teams.  Freshman Kamden Brown was the race's overall winner, and he was joined in the top five by Logan Howard's 3rd place finish and Mattix Benefiel in 4th.  Those three were joined in the top 25 by Josh Lancaster in 11th, Braedin Zondervan in 23rd, and Ezra DeCleene in 25th.  Those six were followed by Quinten Kessler, Ben Imhoff, Ryan Rushing, and Aaron Parks to complete the Carlisle JV top 10.

The teams run again next Thursday at SE Polk.
