The Wildcats more than held their own in the predominantly 4A field at the Fort Dodge Invitational.  The meet consisted of 10 ranked 4A teams and 3 ranked 3A teams. The varsity Boys placed 13^th out of 26 teams and were led by Chase Gach in 62^nd place. Also in the top 100 were Brayden Kessler in 75^th, Mattix Benefiel in 83^rd, and Mason Ramsey in 85^th. Rounding out the varsity nine were Keith Christenson in 107^th, Logan Howard in 111^th, Zach Streeter in 115^th, Brody Roth in 162^nd , and Camden Brown in 183^rd.

The JV Boys placed 9^th out of 23 teams and were led by Josh Lancaster's 31^st place finish.  Also in the Top 105 (out of 589!) were Braedin Zondervan in 49^th, Harrison Eighmy in 50^th, Ezra DeCleene in 55^th, Lincoln Eighmy in 58^th, Ben Imhoff in 77^th, and Aaron Parks in 104^th.

Keith Christenson, Mattix Benefiel, Harrison Eighmy, Logan Howard, Josh Lancaster, Braedin Zondervan, Aaron Parks, Ryan Rushing, Brandon Birech, Ethan Goodhue, Cory Crall, and Jonathan Mehmen all ran their career best race times!

The Cats run again Oct. 12^th in Boone for the Raccoon River Conference Championships.
