Cats Compete in Ft. Dodge Invitational

The Wildcats more than held their own in the predominantly 4A field at the Fort Dodge Invitational.  The meet consisted of 10 ranked 4A teams and 3 ranked 3A teams. The varsity Boys placed 13th out of 26 teams and were led by Chase Gach in 62nd place. Also in the top 100 were Brayden Kessler in 75th, Mattix Benefiel in 83rd, and Mason Ramsey in 85th. Rounding out the varsity nine were Keith Christenson in 107th, Logan Howard in 111th, Zach Streeter in 115th, Brody Roth in 162nd , and Camden Brown in 183rd.

The JV Boys placed 9th out of 23 teams and were led by Josh Lancaster's 31st place finish.  Also in the Top 105 (out of 589!) were Braedin Zondervan in 49th, Harrison Eighmy in 50th, Ezra DeCleene in 55th, Lincoln Eighmy in 58th, Ben Imhoff in 77th, and Aaron Parks in 104th.

Keith Christenson, Mattix Benefiel, Harrison Eighmy, Logan Howard, Josh Lancaster, Braedin Zondervan, Aaron Parks, Ryan Rushing, Brandon Birech, Ethan Goodhue, Cory Crall, and Jonathan Mehmen all ran their career best race times!

The Cats run again Oct. 12th in Boone for the Raccoon River Conference Championships.
