Wildcats Finish Third in RRC Championship Race

The Wildcats XC teams competed at the Racoon River Conference meet in Boone on October 12th. The varsity race had a loaded field with four ranked 3A teams. The Cats took third place in a tight race with 66 points. Champion North Polk had 31 points and 2nd place ADM had 64. 

Carlisle was led by first-team all-RRC performers Chase Gach (9th) and Brayden Kessler (11th). Landing a spot on the 2nd all-RRC team were Mason Ramsey (14th), Zach Streeter (15th), and Mattix Benefiel (17th). Rounding out the varsity squad were Logan Howard in 25th and Keith Christenson in 42nd

The JV Boys won the RRC JV Championships with a meet low 19 points.  Second-place ADM had 57 and North Polk scored 79.  The Cats were led by overall race winner Kamden Brown.  Also in the Top 10 for Carlisle were Brody Roth in 3rd, Ezra DeCleene in 4th, Josh Lancaster in 5th, Lincoln Eighmy in 6th, Jeremiah Dronet in 7th, Braedin Zondervan in 8th.  Just outside of the Top 10 for the JV were Ben Imhoff in 11th and Harrison Eighmy in 12th.    The RRC JV Championship was the 7th straight for Carlisle!
