Wildcats Get Preview of State Course

The Carlisle Cross Country team ran at the Fort Dodge Invitational on Oct. 6th.  There were 12 ranked 4A teams and 4 ranked 3A teams in the highly competitive race.  The Varsity boys got 12th out of 27 teams, with all 9 runners getting their season's best times.  The team was led by Sub-17 minute runners Kael Streeter (53rd), Kamden Brown (58th), and Chase Gach (71st).  Following closely behind were Logan Howard (83rd), Brody Roth (91st), Ezra DeCleene (98th), Zach Streeter (100th), Harrison Eighmy (114th), and Lincoln Eighmy (115th).

The JV squad placed 12th out of 22 complete teams.  They were led by Sub-19 minute runners Talan Walstrom (35th), Raymond Birech (39th), Mattix Benefiel (42nd), Ben Imhoff (81st).  Rounding out the JV Top 10 were Ryan Rushing (100th), Colton Waterhouse (109th), Aaron Parks (114th), Jeremiah Dronet (252nd), Judah DeCleene (256th), and Trent Pearson (258th). 

26 runners got their season's best times tonight, and 18 kids got their lifetime best times!

The teams will compete at the Raccoon River Conference Meet on Oct. 11th.
