Wildcats Earn 7th Consecutive Trip to State Meet

The Carlisle Boys Cross Country team punched their ticket to the State XC Meet in Pella on Oct. 19th.  The 7th-ranked Wildcats place 3rd out of 13 teams with 76 points.  3A #1 Pella won the meet with 21 points, and 3A #3 Winterset took 2nd place with 52 points.   Carlisle had 3 runners earn Automatic Qualifier distinction (Top 15) in Kael Streeter- 8th place in 16:38, Kamden Brown-12th place in 16:52, and Chase Gach -14th place in 16:56.  Finishing in the Top 25 for Carlisle were Logan Howard- 20th in 17:16, Brody Roth -22nd in 17:20,  and Ezra DeCleene -25th in 17:22.  Rounding out the varsity 7 was Zach Streeter -44th in 18:19. 

This marks the 7th trip to the State Meet in a row for the Boys team.  The Wildcats will run at the State Meet on October 29th in Fort Dodge (Lakeside Golf Course in Kennedy State Park).
