The Carlisle Wildcat Boys Cross Country team opened up their season by running at the DCG Invitational. The Cats placed 3^rd as a team with 93 points. Host DCG was the meet champion with 34 points. The boys were led by Ezra DeCleene's 6^th place finish with a 17:18! Also in the top 25 were Brody Roth (17^th- 18:01), Chase Gach (21^st -18:16), Kamden Brown (24^th -18:20), and Josh Lancaster (25^th -18:21). Rounding out the top 10 Carlisle finishers were Talan Walstrom (34^th- 18:43), Mattix Benefiel (40^th -19:13), Harrison Eighmy (50^th -19:14), Judah DeCleene (53^rd -19:20), and Ben Imhoff (54^th -19:21). 

Ezra DeCleene, Conner Hansen, Cory Crall, Adam Olinger, Judah DeCleene, and Torren Walstrom all ran their lifetime best times at the meet.

The Cats race again on Sept.7 at the Gilbert Invite on the ISU XC course.
