The Wildcat Boys had a great night at the Indianola Invitational! The Varsity Boys placed 2nd out of 9 teams. They were edged by 4A #14 Waukee by 8 points. The Cats were led by medalists Kael Streeter in 16:43 (4th) and Ezra DeCleene in 19:55 (6th). Kamden Brown also finished in the top 20 with a 17:12 (13th). Rounding out the varsity squad were Brody Roth 17:36 (23rd), Chase Gach in 17:40 (26th), Josh Lancaster in 17:59 (36th), and Talan Walstrom in 18:06 (39th)
The JV Boys placed 3rd out of 12 while beating many 4A teams along the way. They were led by medalists Ben Imhoff in 18:43 (6th) and Judah DeCleene in 18:45 (7th). Finishing in the Top 30 for the team were Conner Hansen in 19:37 (22nd), Torren Walstrom in 19:43 (26th), and Alex Quinn in 19:44 (26th). Rounding out the JV Top 7 were Ryan Rushing in 19:56 (32nd) and Brandon Birech in 20:39 (48th).
The Cats run again at Williamsburg on September 26th.
