The Wildcats ran against a loaded 4A field at the Fort Dodge Invitational. The Cats placed 14th out of 29 teams. The Varsity was led by Ezra DeCleene in 46th place (16:33) and Kael Streeter in 50th (16:36). Behind those 2 in the top 100 were Kamden Brown in 78th (17:00) and Brody Roth in 96th (17:16). Rounding out the Varsity 10 were Josh Lancaster in 104th (17:28), Chase Gach in 117th (17:36), Talan Walstrom in 123rd (17:36), Ben Imhoff in 143rd (17:50), Mattix Benefiel in 162nd (18:07), and Judah DeCleene in 184th (18:32).
The JV Boys also place 14th at the meet and were led by Alex Quin in 32rd place (18:10). Also placing in the top 100 for the JV were Conner Hansen in 75th (18:47), Ryan Rushing in 83rd (18:53), and Eli Mezger in 97th (19:17). Rounding out the JV 10 were Brandon Birech in 102nd (19:28), Torren Walstrom in 116th (19:45), Ben Lancaster in 117th (19:49), Cory Crall in 207th (19:49), Colton Waterhouse in 293rd (20:33) and Tate Hulling in 446th (22:26).
