Wildcats Second at RRC Championships

The Wildcats Varsity ran to a 2nd place finish at the Raccoon River Conference Meet in Huxley.  #1 ranked Gilbert won the meet with 34 points to Carlisle's 52.  The team was led by 1st Team All-RRC performers Kael Streeter in 5th (16:34), Ezra DeCleene in 7th (16:40), Brody Roth in 9th (16:44), and Kamden Brown in 10th (16:46).  Josh Lancaster was 2nd Team All-RRC with his 21st place finish (17:36).  Rounding out the squad were Talan Walstrom in 26th (17:47) and Ben Imhoff in 27th (17:51).

The JV Boys won their 9th straight RCC JV Championship by scoring a meet low 34 points.  2nd place Gilbert scored 49.  The Wildcats were led by Top 15 finishers Alex Quinn in 4th (18:14), Mattix Benefiel in 5th (18:15), Chase Gach in 6th (18:22), Conner Hansen in 8th (18:27), Judah DeCleene in 11th (18:30), and Ryan Rushing  in 12th (18:31).  Also placing in the Top 25 for the JV were Eli Mezger in 23rd (19:21) and Torren Walstrom in 24th (19:22).

The Varsity Boys will run at the 3A State Qualifier Meet in Clear Lake on October 18th
