The Wildcat Boys Cross country team capped off an amazing season by placing 4th at the State XC Meet in Fort Dodge. 15 teams compete at the State meet, but there are 64 total teams in Class 3A.

The team set a school record by placing 4 runners in the top 30 of the race and were led by Ezra DeCleene in 16:27 (19th place).  Ezra was followed by Kael Streeter in 16:33 (22nd place), Kamden Brown in 16:40 (26th place), and Brody Roth in 16:43 (29th place). Following those 4 were Josh Lancaster in 17:23 (81st place), Talan Walstrom in  17:32 (95th place), and Chase Gach in 17:55 (117th place).

Kamden, Brody, and Josh ran their lifetime best times, and Ezra and Kae were each within 2 seconds of theirs. With their 4th place team finish this year the team has now finished as a Top 7 team in the state for 7 straight years.
