The Carlisle Girls Track team traveled to Ames for an indoor state battle. Overall, the team placed 4th by scoring 44.5 points. We had some great relay and individual performances. We had 2 Blue standards, which means automatic Drake Relay bids. Ainsley Erzen hits 2:12.05 in the 800m and wins her race. Isabelle Noring jumps 17'-06.25" to get her bid in the long jump. 

Scoring Points: The 4x800m team of Tessa Erzen- Marie Daggett- Maya Bergstrom- Ainsley Erzen won the 3A title with a time of 10:03.07. Isabelle Noring qualified for the finals in the 60m dash to place 7th at 8.22. The Shuttle Relay team of Laura Downs- Katie Keeney- Hallie Fucaloro- Sydney Beydler placed 8th place with a time of 43.25 (4x60m). In the high jump, Cadence Sinclair places 2nd in a tough jump off at 4-10 and Sage Austin places 5th by clearing 4-08.

The 4x400m of Laura Downs- Tessa Erzen- Marie Daggett- Cassie Miller placed 9th with a time of 4:32.50. The 4x100m of Aubrey McDaniel- Sage Austin- Isabella Tuck- Amber Dougherty placed 11th with a time of 54.22. In the sprint medley (Aubrey McDaniel- Hallie Fucaloro- Isabella Tuck- AshleeKay Christensen) ran 2:08.11 to place 18th. 

Additional individual highlights include: 60m- Katie Keeney 10.89 (14th) and Syndey Beydler 12.10 (33rd). 400m- Cassie Miller 67.02 (11th). 1500m- Maya Bergstrom 5:27.45 (9th) and Riley Sievers 5:58. 38 (17th). 3000m- Riley Sievers 12:59.07 (13th). 800m- AshleeKay Christensen 2:53.29 (21st). Logan Brown places 9th in shot with a throw of 33-03 and Amarae Brown throws 27-06 to place 21st. Very solid for both 9th graders.
